Get ready for a day of hands-on discovery as we dive into the brilliant world of fiber optics and electricity! Our young innovators (ages 5–10) will bend light to create their very own Fiber Optic Buddy and master the flow of circuits to design custom LED Safety Bracelets to take home. In honor of Juneteenth, we’re celebrating the incredible Dr. Shirley Jackson, the trailblazing Black physicist whose groundbreaking research paved the way for fiber optics and telecommunications.
