Our after school programs offer young scientists a multidisciplinary chance to build fine motor skills, develop an understanding of scientific principles, build vocabulary, work together with other scientists and engage in scientific discussion. We’ll analyze data we collect as we mix, measure, ask questions and have a ton of FUN! We offer:
- ENGAGING HANDS-ON SCIENCE IN A LIGHT, RELAXED, ATMOSPHERE
- SIGN UP FOR 1-2 CLASSES EACH WEEK
- CURRICULUM CREATED AND TAUGHT BY EXPERIENCED TEACHERS
- PICK UP FROM LOCAL SCHOOLS
- PAYMENT PLAN AVAIL & SIBLING DISCOUNT
- CLASSES BEGIN THE WEEK OF SEPT. 11th AND GO THRU JUNE.

MONDAYS OR TUESDAYS: Geo Giants & Dino-MIGHT Join us for an epic journey deep into the layers of our Earth. We’ll learn about dirt and explore "creepy crawlies", make volcanoes, work with tornadoes, learn about the rock cycle, explore natural crystal formation and mix up a disgusting batch of quicksand! Let's get dirty The Tiny Scientist way! 3:30-4:45. Monday classes meet 1x/wk from September 11 to December 4th. Tuesday classes meet 1x/wk from September 12 to December 5th. Classes are not in session when public schools are closed.
WEDNESDAYS OR THURSDAYS: Science of Art Ever use centrifugal force to make a one-of-a-kind masterpiece or make a work of art out of marshmallows? If you are a scientist with an artistic streak, or vice versa, then this class is for you We'll make super cool paint sets like famous artists, explore solids and liquids as we make our own amazing lip balm and more! Move over Picasso, step aside Pollock - this is art The Tiny Scientist way! 3:30-4:45 Wednesday classes meet 1x/wk from September 13 to December 6th. Thursday classes meet 1x/wk from September 12 to December 7th. Classes are not in session when public schools are closed.
MONDAYS OR TUESDAYS: Science of Art, Part II Brighten up those gray winter days with EXPLOSIONS OF COLOR! Step into the rainbow and watch colors blend together in a fantastic visible light spectrum, learn about evaporation rates while we make beautiful alcohol-ink art and create amazing crystal snowflakes to celebrate the season. 3:30-4:45 Monday classes meet 1x/wk from December 11th. Tuesday classes meet 1x/wk from December 12th. Classes are not in session when public schools are closed.
WEDNESDAYS OR THURSDAYS: Toy Lab Step into the Tiny Scientist Toy Lab for some serious fun! We'll explore the gravity-defying elasticity of a bouncy paddle ball, learn about simple circuits and zoom through roller coaster physics while we craft our own marble run. Come play at the Tiny Scientist where fun is work and work is FUN! 3:30-4:45Wednesday classes meet 1x/wk from December 13th. Thursday classes meet 1x/wk from December 14th.
MONDAYS OR TUESDAYS: Touch, Sound, Color, Light “Why is this leaf green?” “What’s up my nose?”.... Children are natural scientists! In our Touch, Sound, Color, Light...GLOW AT NIGHT! class, children will practice using their senses to explore the world around them. We'll have a blast taking the mystery texture challenge, practice measurement while whipping up a batch of bubbly bug soup, learn why being afraid of the dark is nothing to be afraid of...and much much more! 3:30-4:45
WEDNESDAYS OR THURSDAYS: Brooklyn Zookeepers In this special class, scientists become naturalists as we explore animal tracks, figure out how fast snails can race and take a peak at tiny turtles.
